BRINKEY, HARRY JAMES, age 75 of Waterford, passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2022. He was born on December 25, 1946 in Hazel Park to parents Edward and Helen (Dombrowski) Brinkey. Harry was a Vietnam Veteran who proudly served in the US Army. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting and fishing. Harry is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Lavern Brinkey; children: James Brinkey, Rebecca Brinkey, and Beverly Brinkey; eight grandchildren, and one great granddaughter. He was preceded in death by both parents and seven siblings. A funeral service will take place at 12 noon on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at COATS FUNERAL HOME – WATERFORD. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 from 4-9pm. Interment with military honors at Great Lakes National Cemetery.
