of Waterford, passed away, Thursday, August 3, 2017 at 85 years of age. Beloved husband of the late Evelyn; loving father of Harold (Sandie) Irons, Karen (Roger) Fulkerson and Mark Irons; proud grandfather of Shannon, Edward, Amber, Tiffany, Faith, Rachelle and Brittney; great grandfather of Jeremy, Alyssa, Kayla and Eva; dear brother of June Irons. Preceded in death by son, Paul and brother, Johnny. Born in Tennessee, Wes moved with his family to Lake Orion, Michigan as a teenager. He attended GMI (Kettering University) before beginning his career in toolmaking and machine building. In the early 1970's he and his brother opened Royal Honda in Royal Oak, which he owned until 1982. After retiring, he taught for many years at Oakland Tech Center in Clarkston sharing his enthusiasm and love of engineering to many young people.12px;
