CHARTERS, HALDON GEORGE, of Waterford, passed away on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at the age of 85. Haldon was born on October 8, 1936 in Whittemore, Michigan. Loving father of Brenda Tong and Jodi (Don) Richmond; dear brother of Byron Charters, Norman Charters, Wanda Avery, Sharon Eaton and the late Sheila Charters; grandfather of Blake, Bryton, Jordan, and Jessie; and great grandfather to Raegan, Wyatt, and Everett. Also survived by special friend, Liz. He was preceded in death by both parents; wife of 45 years, Patricia. Haldon enjoyed bowling, golfing, and playing table tennis. Haldon was a metallurgist at Pontiac Motors for 28 years. He was skilled in carpentry and loved repairing just about anything. Haldon was loved dearly and will be deeply missed. As were his wishes, cremation has taken place.
