Gregory C. Popelier, age 39 of Clarkston, passed away far too soon on Wednesday, May 29, 2024. He was born on August 7, 1984 in Rochester. Greg graduated from Western Michigan University, where he earned his bachelor's degree. He had a successful career that he truly enjoyed, and appreciated the great relationships he made with his colleagues and clients. Greg had a knack for connecting with people. A man who truly never sat still – he was always somewhere doing something with people he loved – making sure to always experience every second of life. He will always be remembered for his distinct and infectious laugh. He loved all outdoor activities, but especially enjoyed spending time on the water boating and in the snow skiing or snowmobiling. Greg will be remembered as a wonderful and loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. Greg leaves to cherish in his memory, loving wife of 11 years, Courtney Popelier; sons: Elliot, age 8 and Ethan, age 5; mother, Susan Popelier-Howard; brothers: Matt (Abby) Popelier, Scott (Jackie) Popelier, and David (Anne) Popelier; nieces and nephews: Tommy, Mallory, Maggie, Charlie, Maddy, Lainey, and Cooper; and many extended family and friends.
