Gordon Charles Mannor of Waterford passed into eternal life on January 29, 2022. He was born July 9, 1929, the oldest child of Charles and Mary Genevieve Mannor in Flint, MI. He married the love of his life, Frances (Frawley) in 1958. She preceded him in death in 2020 after 62 years of marriage. Gordon is survived by his loving children Patrick Mannor, Loretta (Thomas) Mullally, Christopher Mannor, Jane Mullally, and Robert (Melissa) Mannor, and daughter-in-law Jane Mannor; Grandchildren Michael (Kate) Mannor, Joseph (Nicole) Mannor, Andrew (Veronica) Mullally, Matthew (Alicia) Mullally, Patrick Mullally, Timothy Mullally, Kathleen (Dominic) Barceleau, Thomas Mullally, Marie (Matthew) Peterson, Joseph Mullally, Monica Mullally, Maria (Bryan) Ramberg, Anthony Mannor, Andrew Mannor, Nicholas Mannor, Isabella Mannor, Lindsay (Marc) Blain, Lauren Mannor, Angela (Michael) Rose, Maureen (Joseph) Kerr, Miriam Mannor, Alexander Mannor, Samuel Mannor, Molly Mannor, and Charles Mannor, as well as 37 treasured great-grandchildren; Sisters-in-law Yvonne Mannor and Barbara Lusty, brother-in-law Donald Frawley, and his many beloved nieces and nephews. In addition to his loving wife, Gordon was also preceded in death by his son Michael Mannor, grandson Jimmy Mannor, brothers Raymond Mannor and Gaylord Mannor, sister Geneva Ginger Payne, sisters-in-law Mary Jean Mannor, Helen Routowicz and Janet Frawley, brothers-in-law Carl Routowicz, John Lusty, and John Payne.

Gordon's priorities were his faith and family. He was always a great provider for his family. He loved traveling the United States and Canada in his motorhome, driving to all the 48 contiguous states, and even driving to Alaska. He enjoyed visiting many of the National Parks, and he was always curious, and loved teaching his family about the interesting things that he learned and saw. Gordon was a loyal General Motors employee for 40 years and an Army Veteran serving in Korea. He was the first person in his family to earn a college degree and encouraged his children to pursue higher education. He loved spending time with his kids, grandkids, and great-grand kids, especially at a campground or around a campfire. With his wife and their friends, they started a weekly Holy Hour that continued for more than twenty years. He and Frances were daily communicants for more than thirty years. He leaves his children and family many wonderful memories, but his greatest gift to them was the gift of faith and his example of a life well lived. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church in Waterford at 10am on Saturday, February 5. Burial All Saints Cemetery, Waterford. The family will receive friends on Friday at COATS FUNERAL HOME-WATERFORD from 5pm until 8pm, with a rosary at 7pm.
