UTSLER, GLORIA ANN, of West Bloomfield, passed away April 17, 2021 at 90 years of age. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on March 1, 1931 to her loving parents Lester Thomas and Eleanore Marie VanMarter (nee Hall). Gloria attended St. Joseph Academy, in Adrian, and graduated from Walled Lake Central in 1949. A very strong and kindhearted woman, Gloria worked in banking and later owned and operated her own businesses. In her free time, she enjoyed traveling, dining out, and following the Detroit Tigers. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family at the lake and attending her grandchildren's sporting events. She will be deeply missed by her friends and family. She is survived by her dearest brother Robert (Kristy) VanMarter; loving children Kendall Smith and Kimberlee (Gary) Stepp; step-sons Nicholas, David and Edward Utsler; grandchildren Christopher (Kym), Aaron (Kyla), Rebecca (Michael), and Ashley; and great-grandchildren Cooper, Bailey, Nolan, Quinn, Kelsey and Brielle.She was preceded in death by Gordon Smith and Max C. Utsler.Family will have a private committal service at All Saints Cemetery.
