Surviving are his wife of 59 years, Patricia Ann (Follett) Thompson; son and daughter-in-law, Mark Alan and Pat Thompson; son, Scott Andrew Thompson and sisters Margaret T. Brown and Shirley T. Bean as well as many nieces, nephews, and their families. ;"Born on Sept. 19, 1926 in Perry, NY, the son of Roy Ephriam and C. Artemise Crittenden Thompson. ;"Glenn was the fourth child in a family of six siblings, and was pre-deceased by his sisters Greta T. LaFave and Anita T. Twichell and brother John H. Thompson. !--?xml:namespace prefix = o /--o:p/o:p/ p class="MsoNormal" ;" Arialquot;,quot;sans-serifquot;; "o:p/o:p/ p class="MsoNormal" ;" Arialquot;,quot;sans-serifquot;; "Mr. Thompson honorably served our country in the U.S. Army from 1954 to 1956. He received his BS in Education from the State University of New York at Oswego and completed his Masters in Education at St. Bonaventure University. ;"Glenn enjoyed a long career in education which culminated as the Superintendent of the New York State School for the Blind in Batavia, NY. In retirement Glenn enjoyed working as a tour guide at Cape Canaveral, Fl and Niagara Falls, NY as well as selling real estate. Glenn continually served his community with the Lion's Club in Batavia, NY; Akron, NY; and Goodrich, MI.o:p/o:p/
