SHEFFIELD, GLEN LUTHER of Waterford, passed away October 16, 2019 at 92 years of age. Born May 6, 1927 in Fisk, Missouri, son of the late John and Vera Sheffield; beloved husband of the late Marion Sheffield for 58 years; cherished father of Gary (Darcel), Lois (Tony) and Randy (Kris); proud grandfather of Danny, Malisa, Brian, Chris, Jesse, Andrew, Nicholas, Kelsey, Sean and Shannon; loving great grandfather of Miranda, Aaron, Ethan, Jaylen, Erika, Jesse Jr., Keona, Brenden, Lindsey, Kailey and Alyssa and great great grandfather of Julian, Arianna and Zoe; brother of Nadine Kincaid, Vivian Courte, the late Laverned Sheffield, the late Geraldine Smoot and Donna Wood. Glen enlisted in the United States Navy and served his country during WW2 as a Fireman. In his two enlistments he spent some time in the Asiatic Pacific area and received the Victory Medal. Glen made a good living working for General Motors and eventually retired. His hobbies included bowling, softball and golf where he has earned his bragging rights for hitting a hole in one. He also enjoyed watching the Air Show and racecars. Most importantly, Glen loved and adored his family.
