GERT' of Waterford, passed away June 23, 2017 at 83 years of age. Loving wife of the late Roy; beloved mother of James (Lucy) Hopewell, Susan (David) Szekley, Amy (Marc) Hopewell-Edward, and the late Roy Hopewell, Jr.; grandmother of Amanda (Jake) and Joel (Brittany); and a great grandchild on the way; sister of Ruth (Del) Blay. Preceded in death by 2 sisters and 1 brother. Gert was a faithful servant of Jehovah, and loved her family and friends. She also enjoyed picnics in her yard with family and friends, traveling, camping, and mowing her beloved yard, where she enjoyed her flowers, trees, birds, and squirrels.
