McLAUGHLIN, GERALD O. of Waterford, passed away August 19, 2025 at 86 years of age. Loving husband of Patricia for 49 years; dear father of the late Jerry McLaughlin, Edna McWilliams, Brian McLaughlin; step father of Warren Walker, Jr., Ramona (Alan) Spencer, Carl (Cynthia) Walker, Keith Walker, Kevin Walker, and the late Melvin Walker; grandfather of Jerry, Jr., Brian, Jr. (Yolonda), Trina, Stephanie, Breanne, Ian, Heather, Stacey, Aaron, Ashley, Angela, Anthony, and Destiny; great grandfather of 15; brother of Linda Reinhardt, Karen Feldman, and twin of the late Gordon McLaughlin. Jerry retired from Grand Trunk Railway in 2000 after 40 years of service. He was a hardworking man taking care of his family. In his off time he enjoyed simple relaxation, country music; sports; and watching television with a coke. We will all miss his bright and witty sense of humor.
