HALL, GERALD W. JR. "JERRY" of Clarkston, passed away January 16, 2024 at 84 years of age. Loving husband of Margaret (née White) for 61 years; dear father of Brian (Heidi) Hall, Jennifer (Joe) Bland, and Jason (Jennifer) Hall; grandfather of Gavin, Grace, Clare, Quinn Hall, and the beloved late Lynde Polasek; great grandfather of Ava Booker; brother of the late Judith O'Hara; preceded in death by his parents, Gerald W. and Margaret (née Waldbeller) Hall, Sr. Jerry graduated from St. Mary's of Royal Oak and was a veteran of the US Army and earned both his bachelor's and master's degrees from Wayne State University. He retired from the State of Michigan as Director of Oakland County Family Independence Agency, as well as adjunct professor at Oakland Community College in political science and Oakland University in public administration. A long time member of Our Lady of the Lakes Church, Jerry enjoyed time with his family, investing, sports, and golf. He loved watching the beautiful sunsets overlooking  Lake Arrowhead.  A wonderful husband, father, and grandfather his warm smile and listening ear will be forever missed. Funeral mass will be Monday, January 22, 2024 at 10 AM at Our Lady of the Lakes Church, 5481 Dixie Hwy, Waterford. Burial follows All Saints Cemetery, Waterford.
