CROSSMAN, GERALD CLIFFORD, age 82 of Waterford, passed away on Monday, June 21, 2021. He was born on November 20, 1938 in Pontiac, Michigan to parents Clifford and Harriet Crossman. Gerald graduated from Pontiac Central High School in 1957 and later earned his Bachelor's Degree from Cleary University. Gerald was a veteran of the US Navy, attended the Navy School of Music and played clarinet and alto sax in USIS Tour Band in Europe. He retired from General Motors after many years of service. Gerald was a member of the Waterford New Horizons Band and was a Bethany Group member. He enjoyed golfing, going on cruises and traveling in his RV. Gerald will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 11 years, Helen Dinsmore; children: Duane Crossman, Gerald Crossman, Jr., and Karen (Andy) Crawford; step-children: Andrew (Annette) Dinsmore, Janie (David) Peters; grandchildren: Ariana Price, Kevin Crossman, and Logan Crossman; great grandchildren: Joey, Melissa, and Tegan; step-grandchildren: Brandon Dinsmore and Allie Dinsmore. He was preceded in death by both parents; former wife, Joann Crossman; and infant daughter, Cheryl Lynn. A memorial service will be held at 2pm on Sunday, June 27, 2021 at COATS FUNERAL HOME - WATERFORD. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service, beginning at 1pm.
