HAVERSTICK, GEORGE A. of Mayville, passed away May 17, 2021 at 64 years of age. Preceded in death by his parents Harold and Beulah Haverstick; brother Hal Haverstick. Survived by his sister in law Kim Haverstick; nephews Steven (Stacy) and David (Liz); and great nieces and nephews, Mackenzie, Evan, Emma, Ava, Owen, Layla, and Zoey. George retired in 2008 from GM Flint after 33 years of service. He was a big outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. A big animal lover, George enjoyed the rural life in Mayville with his array of small farm animals and his cherished dogs.
