FUNCK, GEORGE G. "GLEN" of Clarkston, passed away October 17, 2022 at 91 years of age. Loving husband of the late Gwendolyn; dear father of Darrel Funck and the late Sonya Funck; grandfather of George (Sidney), Christina, and Matt Funck; great grandfather of Kalia. Glen was a veteran of the US Army-Korea. He retired from GM in skilled trades after over 48 years of service. Glen was inducted into the Michigan Hall of Fame for over 40 years as an umpire and referee for young men's baseball and football. As a coach of Class A Baseball, he took his team to four Michigan State Championships. He was a good husband, father, and loved his grandchildren. Funeral service will be Monday, October 24, 2022 at 11 AM at COATS FUNERAL HOME-WATERFORD. Family will receive friends Sunday 4-8 PM.
