COLLIAS, GEORGE THOMAS of Waterford, passed away on January 7, 2022 at 63 years of age. George was born on September 17, 1958 in Pontiac, Michigan to parents Chris and Zelma Ruthyne Collias (Nee Gillespie); beloved husband of Cynthia Marie Collias (Nee Maxwell) for 38 wonderful years; cherished father of Sarah (Jeffrey) Riedel and Amber (Shawn) Bollman; proud grandfather of Chloe, Olivia, Madison, McKenna, Adalyn, and Norah; dearest brother of Frank (Judy Henry) Collias, Mary Mayer, John (Marie) Collias and preceded in death his older brother William Collias; uncle to many nieces and nephews. In 1976, George graduated from Waterford Mott High School in Waterford, Michigan. He met the love of his life Cindy at Firebird Lanes in Waterford and they married in 1983. His family came first; he especially enjoyed attending his grandchildren's soccer games and bringing them goodies like candy and doughnuts. In his free time, he loved to bowl and golf. George will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and community. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
