BEEMAN, GEORGE D. of Clarkston, passed away February 25, 2022 surrounded by his loving family at 79 years of age. Loving husband of Dee (nee Harper) for 58 years; dear father of Anne (Roger) Heitzeg, Patrick (Michelle) Beeman, Scott (Tammie) Beeman, and Chris (Chris) Beeman; grandfather of Tai Heitzeg, Jason Heitzeg, Nikolas Heitzeg, George Beeman, Emily Beeman, Jessica (Trevor) Neideffer, Brenden Beeman, and Kennedy Beeman; great grandfather of Allie and Louis Neideffer; brother of Delores Browning; preceded in death by his parents George and Bessie Beeman and his sister, Vi Wolfe; son in law of Coletta Harper; brother in law of Jacqueline (Chris) Young and Robert (Lisl) Harper; survived by many nieces and nephews. George was a graduate of Eastern Michigan University where he met and married Dee. He retired from GM after 38 years of service, and was a long time member of St. Daniel Catholic Church, Clarkston. He was an avid, if not obsessive golfer with a hole in one under his belt, as well as a bowler with at least two 300 games to his name. He enjoyed time with his golf buddies traveling and league play, but most important he enjoyed time with his family.
