ARTHUR, GEORGE H. of Pontiac, passed away March 25, 2021 at 73 years of age. Loving husband and partner of Jackie for 20 years; beloved father of Rick Ayers, George II (Crystal) Arthur, and Kris (Christina) Arthur; grandfather of Evelyn, Nolan, and Stella; brother Jean Spurlock, the late Tyrone Arthur, and the late Wanda (Mike) Anderanin. Also survived by the mother of his sons, Carol Arthur; numerous nieces and nephews; and cherished dogs Thor and Hercules. George retired from GM in 2014 after 48 years of dedicated service. George was a dedicated Mason and member of the Orion Lodge 46 F. & A.M. He was extremely fond of animals having raised pigeons and doves, as well as caring for the small creatures in his yard. His interests included, maintaining his yard and botanical gardens; working around the house; liked watching sports but loved hockey, and his precious 1971 Pontiac Catalina Brougham. He will be missed for his unconditional kindness and the love for his cherished grandchildren and his family. Masonic Lodge service will be Tuesday evening, 7:00 PM.
