BALES, GAYLE MARIE, age 60 of Pontiac, passed away on Wednesday, January 5, 2022. She was born on September 9, 1961 in Pontiac to parents Bill and Sharon Bland. Gayle was a kind hearted woman who loved any and all animals. In previous years she enjoyed traveling and attending concerts with her friends. More than anything, Gayle loved her family and cherished spending time with her son, grandchildren, and siblings. Gayle is survived by her father, Bill Bland; son, Christopher (Sarah) Bales; grandchildren: Terrance, Tyler, and Emma; siblings: Vince Bland, Cheryl (the late Roger) Splude, and Wayne (Jennifer) Bland; brother-in-law, Ramiro Casarez; sister-in-law, Sheila Bland; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Sharon; siblings: Billy Bland and Lori Casarez. A funeral service will take place at 1pm on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at COATS FUNERAL HOME – WATERFORD. Visitation will be held Tuesday, two hours prior to the service, beginning at 11am. Interment at Ottawa Park Cemetery.
