GLISSON, GALE M. (née Meadows) of Waterford, passed away surrounded by her loving family on December 17, 2022 at 64 years of age. Loving wife of Terry for 38 years; beloved mother of Amanda (Brad) Starick and Ashley Glisson; grandmother of Mason, Alexander, and Hailey; sister of Sandy Ealy, Morris (Julie) Meadows, and Brenda (Vern) Cain; preceded in death by her parents Morris and Myrtle (née Crook) Meadows. Gale was a 1976 graduate of Waterford Township High School and was a licensed cosmetologist. She worked for several years in a salon in Waterford. After the birth of her daughters, she converted the garage to a salon and took care of her most loyal customers. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and selling her creations at local craft shows. No one left her booth without trying on a pair of gloves. When she wasn't selling ice cubes to Eskimos, Gale loved time at the casinos and most importantly time with her three grandchildren. She will be dearly missed for her love and affection for her family, and unfailing determination. Funeral service will be held Thursday, December 22, 2022 at 11 AM at COATS FUNERAL HOME-WATERFORD.   Family will receive friends Wednesday 4-8 PM. Flowers are greatly appreciated or donations be made to the family.
