HESS, GAIL ARLENE, age 87, of Clarkston, passed away July 6, 2023. She was born on July 19, 1935, in Pontiac, Michigan, daughter of the late Leslie and Myrle Andrich (nee Rowe). Loving wife of the late John J. "Jack" Hess. Dear mother of Tod J. Hess, Lawrence (Katie) Hess, and the late Gerald Hess. Proud grandmother of Jackson and Kennedy. Gail worked for Clarkston Community Schools for many years and worked as a bookkeeper for Clarkston Chrysler. She was a 3-time worthy matron of the Joseph C. Bird Chapter 294 of the Order of the Eastern Star. In her spare time, she enjoyed her grandkids, traveling, baking, and word searches. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 14, 2023, 11:00 AM at Clarkston United Methodist Church, 6600 Waldon Road, Clarkston. The family will receive friends on Friday from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Interment Lakeview Cemetery.
