ZATINA, FREEDIA IRENE, age 90, of Waterford, passed away on Saturday, November 6, 2021. Freedia was born in Ash Flat, Arkansas to parents Homer and Edna (Eason) Murphy. Loving mother of Timothy Zatina, Gregory Zatina, and Dawn (Peter) Zatina; proud grandmother of Kimberly, Kara, and Nolan; adored great-grandmother of Sadie Rose and Mabel. Freedia was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Zatina and her brother, William Murphy.  During high school, Freedia worked at in the Houseware department at Neisner Block Department Store in Wyandotte, Michigan. Freedia went on to graduate from Little Rock Business College and became a secretary in Detroit. Freedia will be remembered as an amazing mother and grandmother, as she loved to take care of her family. She also loved to cook and draw. Freedia was loved by many and will be deeply missed.
