WAGNER, FRED DIMITRIUS, of Waterford, passed away September 19, 2021 at the age of 56. Born November 19, 2021 in Dearborn, Michigan to loving parents Harold Julius and Stella Wagner (nee Gerdan); beloved husband of Michelle Wagner (nee Herman) for 27 wonderful years; proud father of Tayah and Wyatt Wagner; dearest brother of Harold "Buzz" Julius Wagner II, "Heidi" Hedwig Gauger, and preceded in death by sister Karen Wagner-Fackler; uncle to many wonderful nieces and nephews. Fred was an exquisite cook and it all started when he was 16 years old, in the kitchen flipping pizzas for Lona's Pizza in Dearborn Heights. He received an Associate's degree in Culinary Arts from OCC. Upon receiving his degree, Fred had a flourishing career at many fine dining establishments and spent the last three seasons as the Executive chef at Beacon Hill and Brentwood Golf clubs and banquet centers. While out shopping for a nice pair of jeans, he met the love of his life, Michelle, while she was working at American Eagle and they were married August 27th, 1994. He had a tender and loving soul for his family. In his free time, he enjoyed riding his Harley, teaching his kids how to play sports and taking them to all of their events; later in life he loved customizing his jeep and taking it off roading. Fred will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and community. A celebration of life service will be held on Friday, November 26th at 1:00 p.m. at Beacon Hill and Brentwood Golf Clubs (6011 Majestic Oaks Dr, Commerce Twp., MI). In lieu of flowers family requests donations the made to Detroit Pit Crew Dog Rescue. Upon making the donation, please write, "In memory of Fred Wagner," in the memo line.
