Loving husband of Helen for 72 years; dear father of Gordon (Kimberly) Peters, the late Larry Peters, and the late Phyllis Clark; grandfather of 14; great grandfather of many; brother of Wayne Peters, Frank (Edrie) Peters, Carolyn (Ross) Knootz, and the late Luella Bosworth. Fred was a veteran of the US Army WWII. He was the ultimate 'salesman' retiring from State Tire Sales after 44 years in the tire business and after retirement, 10 years with NAPA Automotive in Pontiac. He was a long time member of Community Presbyterian Church, with no surprise, in charge of membership; Fred never knew a stranger.
