TENUTA, FRANK, age 92, of Clarkston, passed away December 28, 2022. He was born on September 6, 1930, in Pontiac, Michigan, son to the late James and Rose Tenuta (nee Rizzuto). Loving husband of Mary for 67 wonderful years, dear father of Sharon (Matthew Dupuis) Tenuta, Terry Tenuta and Carol (John Mervenne) Tenuta; proud grandfather of Dominic (Kalie) Edwards, Joe Mervenne, Anthony Dupuis and Maria Mervenne; brother of Connie (the late Tom) Powers, Dominic (the late Helen) Tenuta and Lorraine (Dan) Taliercio, also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and extended family.  Frank was the owner and operator of Tenuta's Foodlane since 1950. In his spare time, he enjoyed bowling, golf and playing cards. The family would like to extend their thanks and gratitude to Mercy Hospice and the many caregivers for their kindness and compassion during Frank's illness. Funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2022, 10:30 AM with an instate time of 10:00 AM at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church, 5481 Dixie Highway, Waterford. The family will receive friends on Monday from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Tuesday from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM, with a 7:00 PM Rosary at Coats Funeral Home-Clarkston, 8909 Dixie Highway. Entombment All Saints Cemetery in Waterford, Michigan. Memorial donations in Frank's name may be made to the American Heart Association or the St. Jude Children's Hospital.
