LANE, FRANK EVERETT, age 92 of Waterford, formerly of West Bloomfield, passed away on Friday, July 1, 2022. He was born on August 8, 1929 in Pontiac to the late Frank Altic and Genevieve Mina (Skoog) Lane. Frank proudly served in the US Army. He later retired from Southfield Schools where he was a band instructor. Frank was a professional musician and at one point served as the Vice President of the Pontiac Musicians Union. He was also an accomplished artist and enjoyed sailing in his free time. More than anything, Frank was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Frank is survived by children: Teresa Lane, Jerry (Linda Guzman) Lane, Steve Lane, Lisa (Phil) Locker, Sharon Lane, and Mike (Michelle) Lane, and a multitude of grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Thelma Jean Lane. Memorial mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at Our Lady of Refuge. The family will receive visitors one half hour prior to mass, beginning at 9:30 a.m. Inurnment at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
