" Arial; "Frank" of Bloomfield Hills, July 11, 2013, at age 91. He was born January 26, 1922 in Houston, Texas but relocated to Washington, DC as a child. Frank is survived by his childhood sweetheart and wife of 69 years, Jane, sons Rod and Paul, daughter Susan, 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He served as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Army and received his BSME degree from George Washington University and his MSME degree from Wayne State University. In 1955 Frank joined the General Motors Engineering Staff at the General Motors Technical Center in Warren, MI and retired from GM after 33 years of service. Frank served in a number of civic capacities and he and Jane traveled over 500,000 miles with the former Nomads travel group.
