ZELAZNY, FRANCES ISABELL (formerly Frances Ryan), age 90 of Clarkston, passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2022. She was born on October 24, 1931 in Winchester, Kentucky to parents John and Molly Lawson. Frances was a talented lifelong hairstylist, working at many salons but most proud of the time she spent at Andres in Pontiac. She was very artistic and enjoyed making flower arrangements and painting. More than anything, she loved her family with all that she had. Frances was a kind and loving woman. She cared deeply for everyone she met. She was passionate, forgiving, and humble. To know her was to love her. Frances was a strong woman, a trait that she used to fight and survive breast cancer. Frances is survived by her children: Susan (Dave) Durham, Rick (Gail) Ryan, Michele (Jim) Buchner, Jeff (the late Sherri) Ryan, Bruce Ryan, Beth (Ben) Teeples, and Colleen (David) Courtney; grandchildren: Holli (Johnathan) Deloe, Brandon (Michelle) Ryan, Jason (Lisa) Durham, Jaimie Lopez, Nick Ryan, Erick Ryan, Chauna (Rodney) Mullins, Josh Ryan, Chelsea Ryan, Kyle Teeples, and Tim Teeples; 18 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by both parents; late husband and father of her children, Francis "Bugs" Ryan; son, Bart (Jean) Ryan; siblings: Herbert Lawson, Bill Lawson, Elizabeth Tanner, and Juanita Holland; grandson, Jacob Ryan. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at COATS FUNERAL HOME – WATERFORD. The family will receive visitors on Saturday from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a memorial contribution to the Alzheimer's Association in honor of Frances.
