TODD, FRANCES W. recent resident of Lexington, SC, previously of Pontiac, Farmington Hills, and other areas in Michigan, and Citrus Springs, FL, passed away on November 8, 2020 at the age of 93. She would have turned 94 next month and was so proud of that! Fran was a loving and devoted wife of the late Darvin Melvin Todd; dear mother of Charlotte (Bernie) Callahan, Darlyne (Dennis) Sikkila, Diane Jones, Debbie (Gary) Duncan, Terri (Scott) Cleary, Barbara (Jeff) Leffel, and the late Sandra Todd; grandmother of 21; and great grandmother of 27. Fran was dedicated and very loving wife and mother of 7 girls. She was an amazing homemaker while she raised her children. She belonged to a sewing group with her close friends that she attended monthly in her younger days and later on in life used some of her skills to do alternations for her elderly friends at the independent living facility where she used to live. She attended college while she lived in Florida and studied art where she had a natural talent for art and blessed many in her family with her beautiful paintings. She finished her last painting this past winter for one of her great grandchildren. Fran was known for her love for God, her kindness and generosity to others. She was a beautiful person inside and out and will be greatly missed by her adoring family and others that had the privilege of knowing her! Fran was flown back to Michigan to be buried next to her husband and daughter at Oakview Cemetery, Royal Oak, and there will be an intimate service for her with her immediate family due to Covid-19 on Friday, November 13, 2020. A memorial service will be held in her honor spring 2021.
