of Clarkston, passed away March 2, 2016 at 67 years of age. Loving wife of the late Romeo; beloved mother of Lawrence (Jane) Cruz, Meliza (Ben) Ward, and John Cruz; sister of Lolita Ferrer, Ronald Bernabe, Delia Bernabe, Miguel Bernabe Jr., Cynthia Cabrera, Niceta Chavira and the late Constancia Cruz. Flor came to the U.S. in the 1980rsquo;s looking for a better life and became a clerk for the U.S. Post Office in Detroit, retiring in 2013 after 24 years of service. At the post office she was instrumental in petitioning the local union to realign the workforce with more full time employees to improve operations. She was a kind, loving and generous woman who enjoyed gardening, traveling, cooking and eating. But most important to her were her children.
