Felix Silvestri of Waterford, Michigan died unexpectedly on May 5, 2021 at 40 years of age. He is the beloved son of Simone Silvestri of Germany and Paulo Silvestri of Brazil.Felix died in his sleep of what appears to have been a complication of his diabetes.It is impossible to forget his sparkling eyes, the doors to Felix' lovable, passionate, optimistic, generous, integer and warmhearted nature. His vibrant eyes were your first encounter with his natural curiosity and profound love for life. He used to carry family and friends away into activities that brought us all together to explore the power of nature or to cook together at home. We all agree: - There was not one single vicious impulse towards others in his soul. - Being around him often also meant doing novel things. Things you might have never done on your own because he was an out of the box thinker who could envision joyful activities outdoors like offroading, camping in nature, making bonfires or organizing joint and fun activities in urban settings. His unusual creativity also showed at work. Former bosses and colleagues said that he often could easily find solutions for yet unsolved problems.Despite of being a contagiously enthusiastic extrovert he also had a quiet side to him visiting museums and enjoying music. In all what he did he was at peace with himself. Felix left a powerful legacy to all of us who knew him well:"Life is an infinite source of joy and hope". A Memorial Service celebrating Felix's life will be held at 9:00a.m. on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 with Fr. Brian Chabala officiating.
