McCLELLAND, EVELYN R. of Waterford, passed away August 9, 2020 at 79 years of age. Daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Orlo Deford; loving mother of Linda, Donald (Jenny), Neal, Glen, and the late Robert; grandmother of Mason, Jeremy (Nicci), Allen Mitchell, and the late Nicole; sister of Terry (Delores Hale) Deford, and Cheryl Sills. Evelyn was a child care provider by trade. She enjoyed gardening, crafts and taking pictures at family events, she always had her camera with her. She had a fondness for jewelry and known for her "bling" and don't dare touch her clutter, she loved it. Despite her declining health, she tried to maintain her independence to continue to do things for herself every day. The family wishes to thank the many healthcare individuals that were part of her journey of life and especially her son, Glen, for being there daily for her. She always felt her life was extended many times because Linda was her healthcare advocate. She will be dearly missed by her children and extended family. Graveside service will be Saturday, August 22, 2020 at 1 PM at Clayton Cemetery, Sterling, MI.
