HARROLD, EVELYN MARIE (nee Pouttu ) of Pontiac, passed away April 1, 2021 at 85 years of age. Born June 10, 1935 in Paynesville, Michigan to loving parents the late Leonard and Martha Pouttu (nee Antilla); beloved wife of 49 years to the late Robert I Harrold; loving mother of Rebecca Lynn Harrold of Oregon, David (Fiancée Ellie) Harrold of Auckland, New Zealand, and Karyn (Wayne) Jones of Clarkston; grandmother of Sierra Jones, Joshua Jones, Isaac Harrold, and Ethan Harrold; sister of Hazel Johnson of Houghton, Art Pouttu of Ramsey, Minnesota, and the late Jack Pouttu of Fort Worth, Texas. Evelyn graduated Ewen-Trout Creek High School in 1953 and married Bob, (Robert Irvin Harrold), on December 27, 1958. She was a Cub Scout Leader and loved to bake and cook; she was great at making pasties. Her family will miss her "Dufunnies" that she created using leftover dough from making pies. Evelyn had a knack for making friends very quickly. She was very passionate about family and friends and will be deeply missed by all. Evelyn was a life-long Lutheran, and honored her Lord. A private memorial service will be held at Great Lakes Veterans in Holly on June 10, 2021.
