EDWARDS, EVELYN M. (nee Brill) of Waterford, born into this life on a Good Friday, April 15, 1927 in Yale, MI. She went home to be with the Lord on May 26, 2022 at age 95. Loving wife for 43 years of the late Robert B. Edwards; cherished mother of Cindy Edwards (Chuck Charter), Kevin (Colette) Edwards, Cheryl (the late Kevin) Troper, and Krystal Edwards; grandmother of Matthew (Jeanna) Edwards and Steven Edwards; dear sister of Betty Kratt. Loved and cherished by many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents Julian and Marie Brill (Berg), step father Clark Berg, brother Robert (Claudia) Brill, sister Erma (Ken) Wyers, and brother in law Jack Kratt. Her family was founding members of Christ Lutheran Church in Waterford a church family Evelyn loved very much. She was very active as financial secretary, choir member, cradle roll, Sunday school teacher, quilt team, WELCA group, and in her later years an active member of the Waterford Senior Center and Golden Agers. Evelyn sewed over 1,000 quilts for Europeds. In her twenties she met her beloved Bob at Pontiac Motor where she worked as a secretary and later the two of them co-owned the Coachlight Restaurant in Union Lake for over 18 years. She will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and her church family. Funeral service Friday, June 3, 2022 at 11 AM at Christ Lutheran Church, 5987 Williams Lake Rd, Waterford.
