Eugene Francis Moody Sr., age 81 of Holly, passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2023. He was born on December 4, 1942, in Pontiac, Michigan to parents Eugene and Frances Moody. Eugene was a hard worker who retired from Burke Lumber after 43 years of dedicated service. He was deeply devoted to his family and enjoyed spending time with them and their dogs. In his free time, he enjoyed watching TV and street rodding. Eugene is survived by his children: Michael Farrand, Eugene (Jane) Moody Jr., and Jody (Eric) Hoskins; Sisters: Mary Carmean and Dee Nance; grandchildren: Brandon (Samantha), Alvin, Kristen (Nick), Joshua, Tyler, and Courtney. He is preceded in death by both parents, wife, Donna Moody, siblings: Bob Moody, Pat Donovan, Susie Moody, and Billy Moody. Those desiring may make a memorial contribution to The American Heart Association or Great Lakes Dog Rescue in Metamora. Interment will take place on Friday, December 15, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Lakeview Cemetery.
