MIKLOS, EMMA "EDY" M. of Warren, Michigan, went to be with the Lord on June 5, 2023 at 91 years of age. Loving wife of the late Arpad for 50 years; cherished mother of Katalin (William Smutny) Miklos; grandmother of Jarod DuVan, Zachary Lantto, Vincent (Cecelia) Rigato, Michael (Cassie) Smutny, and John Smutny.

Emma was a courageous woman who, with her husband, came to the United States in 1956 from Hungary at the age of 25. She was always grateful for the simple things in life. Relationships and family meant the world to her, and she was devoted to her church and to God. She was a member of the Church of the Master in Warren for over 50 years where she sang in the choir, taught Bible school, and helped with the homeless. Emma enjoyed gardening and was meticulous in remembering everyone's birthdays. She will be remembered for her kind and big heart, graciousness, charm, and generosity - sprinkled with a bit of stubbornness. She will be forever missed and always in our hearts. Funeral service will be Saturday, June 10th, 2023 at 11 AM at COATS FUNERAL HOME-CLARKSTON, 8909 Dixie Hwy, Clarkston. Family will receive friends FRIDAY June 9th 3-7 PM. In lieu of flowers and plants, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or One Tree Planted.
