KRETSCH, ELMER JOSEPH Jr., age 79, of Clarkston, passed away February 25, 2023. He was born on March 19, 1943, in Detroit, MI, son to the late Elmer Sr. and Florence Kretsch (nee Marion). Loving husband of Jo Ann for 56 wonderful years; dear father of Becky (Phil) Reppuhn and the late Joseph Luke (Nikki) Kretsch; proud papa of Zach, Ryder and Gibson, brother of Ed (the late Sandy) Kretsch and the late John (Sharon) Kretsch. Elmer retired as President and CEO of WICO METAL PRODUCTS, where he was faithfully employed for over 30 years. In his retirement, he spent as much time as he could with his 3 grandsons.  He was a staple at all their basketball or baseball games and enjoyed building legos with Gibson. He was always up for a challenge and would tackle any project no matter the size. In his spare time, you may find him fixing the dishwasher, repairing a toy, building a loft for the boys, or designing a baseball tee. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, March 2, 2023, 10:00 AM with an instate time of 9:30 AM at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church, 5481 Dixie Highway, Waterford. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Coats Funeral Home, 3141 Sashabaw Road, Waterford. Entombment will be held at All Saints Cemetery.
