KISH, ELIZABETH "BETTY" THERESA, age 94 of Waterford, passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2023. She was born on July 20, 1928 in Detroit to parents Louis and Elizabeth (Toth) Szabo. She enjoyed shopping, volunteer work, activities with her friends at Fox Manor, and especially cherished time spent with her family.  Betty is survived by her children: Michael (Mary) Kish, Linda (Tony) Kabacinski, and Susan (Ray King) Kish; grandchildren: Bret (Elizabeth) Kabacinski, Greg Kabacinski, Billy (Bri) Eller, Bobby Eller, Jason Lee, Alyssa (Zack) Valensky, and Vanessa Lee; great grandchildren: Frank, Laszlo, Max, Logan, and Kylee; siblings: Theresa Sabo and Pat (the late Jim) Kloosterman; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members. She was preceded in death by her husband, Zolton; and brother, Steve Sabo. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10am on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church. The family will receive visitors one half hour prior to mass, beginning at 9:30am. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a memorial contribution to Lourdes Senior Community – Fox Manor on the Lake or Capuchin Soup Kitchen in honor of Betty.
