She is survived by two children, David Otto and Cindy Carlson; one grandson, Ethan Paul Otto; her ex-husband and good friend, Peter Otto; preceded in death by one brother, John Meredyk, Jr. and her step-father John Meredyk, Sr. Cookie was retired from Rochester Community Schools as cafeteria manager.
