Edwina Yuvon McCullough, age 90, passed away peacefully on January 28, 2026. She was born in Manila, Arkansas, to parents, Eddie Counts and Helen Shelby. Edwina attended Villa Maria, an all-girls high school in Arkansas, where she began shaping the grace and dedication that would define her life. After graduating, she met the love of her life, William "Bill" Franklin McCullough. The two were united in marriage on October 23, 1954, and together they built a beautiful life and raised a wonderful family grounded in love, devotion, and tradition. Edwina took great pride in her home and family. She enjoyed keeping her house just right, playing bingo and casino games, and most of all spending time with her beloved grandchildren, whom she absolutely adored. She shared a special bond with her cherished poodles, Mandy and Missy, who brought her great joy and companionship. Music was one of Edwina's lifelong passions. She loved listening to Elvis Presley and was a talented organ player. In her younger years, she faithfully played the organ for her church, and later shared her gift on special occasions at Addington Place of Clarkston Assisted Living, where she resided. Cooking was another way she showed her love—she was a wonderful cook, known especially for her homemade goulash. Edwina was a loving wife of 71 years to her late husband Bill McCullough; and a devoted mother to her late son William "Billy" McCullough, and her daughters Pam (Rod) Cosey and Kelley (Tom) Mills. A cherished grandma to: Skye (Lyndsay), Andrea, Hannah (Anthony), Emily, Jessica (Mark), and Will, and she deeply loved her great-grandchildren: Camryn, Evan, and Carter.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her fur babies.

Edwina spent her later years at Addington Place of Clarkston Assisted Living, where she was cared for with kindness and compassion. Her family extends heartfelt gratitude to the staff there, as well as to Hospice of Michigan, for the exceptional care, comfort, and dignity they provided. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at 12:30 PM at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan, where she will be laid to rest with her beloved husband and best friend Bill.
