WRIGHT, Edward Gene, age 86 of Waterford, passed away on Friday, July 29, 2022. He was born on January 20, 1936 in Campbell, Missouri to parents Walthrup and Io (Huntsinger) Wright. Edward was a film editor with GM before retiring in 1992 after 37 years of dedicated service. He was a faithful member of Oakland Woods Baptist Church in Clarkston. Edward is survived by his son, Keith (Heidi) Wright and brother-in-law, Allen (Nellie) Pierce. He was preceded in death by both parents; wife of 37 years, Beverly Wright; and brothers: Jerry Wring and Sam Wright. A funeral service will take place at 10am on Monday, August 1, 2022 at Coats Funeral Home – Waterford. Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 31, 2022 from 4-8pm. Interment at Curran Cemetery in Mitchell Township.
