of Clarkston, passed away on January 22, 2018. Beloved husband of Patricia, loving father of Craig (Julie) Lankford, Karen (Keith) Carnes, Pamela Orsquo;Leary, Michael Lankford, Thomas Hotchkiss and Brian (Rosa) Hotchkiss; proud grandfather of 8, great grandfather of 5. pEdward was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army, having served as an Infantryman in Korea, then working in Japan as an intelligence gatherer for the Army's A.S.A. signal intelligence corp. pHe held various jobs during his life and retired from General Motors in 1991. In retirement Edward took "the best job (he) ever had", mowing grass at the Stoney Creek Metropark golf course for the past 18 summers. pEdward was a lifelong musician and played Trumpet from the age of ten. He was a long time member of the Waterford New Horizons Band. Edward loved playing with New Horizons and played the last "gig" of his life in concert with them. pHe was well loved by many and will be sorely missed.
