KOCZWARA, EDWARD, of Waterford, passed away, Saturday, September 28, 2019 at home surrounded by his family, at the age of 94. Born August 12, 1925 in Clifford, Michigan the son to the late Stanley and Anna Koczwara. Beloved husband of Virginia for 67 years; loving father of Deborah Pennell, Michael Koczwara and the late Mark (Linda) Koczwara; proud grandfather of Ryan and Randy. Preceded in death by his siblings Steve, Walter, Mary, Lucy, Jenny, Irene, Josephine and Stella. He is survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family. Edward retired as a fireman from General Motors after 38 years of faithful service. He was a veteran of the U S Air Force serving in Germany during WWII. He was member of Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church, American Legion Chief Pontiac Post 377, the Polish Polka Club of Dearborn and (BUSMVA) Berlin U S Military Veterans Association, through which he and Virginia traveled across the country and Berlin, Germany.
