DEERING, EDWARD FRANCIS, age 80, of Waterford, passed away May 15, 2024. He was born on February 7, 1944, in Pontiac, Michigan, son to the late Charles and Beverly Deering (nee Verwey). Loving husband of the late Linda, dear father of Anita Dallas, Al Deering, Sherri Allums, Terri Shimmin and the late Eric Deering; proud grandfather of Linsey, Desiree, Griffen, Nadia, Chandler, Riley, Jadyn, Michael, Taylor, Al and Sean; great grandfather of Novah and Maverick. Brother of Charles (Jeanie) Deering, Kathy Faulkner, and Michael Deering. Edward worked as a builder for many years. In his spare time, he enjoyed camping, riding quads, and a good glass of tequila with friends. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2024, 11:00 AM at Coats Funeral Home-Waterford. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Memorial donations in Edward's name may be made to the family.
