BOYD, EDNA ARLENE (nee Owens), age 88, of Independence Township, passed away July 14, 2021. She was born on January 31, 1933, in Cardwell, Missouri, daughter to the late Charlie and Lessie Owens (nee Napier). Loving mother of Rebecca Walton; proud grandmother of Guy (Jeannette) Walton; great grandmother of Dustin (Rachel) Walton, Ashley Walton and Garran Walton; great great grandmother of Landon Walton; dear friend of Penny and Jamini, also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and extended family. She is preceded in death by her siblings; Leonard, Gloretta, Charles Keith, Manuel, Clemma Gene and Freddie Lee. Edna was an avid reader, she also enjoyed astronomy, archeology, Sudoku puzzles and was a huge NASCAR racing fan. Edna belonged to the Northcrest ladies' group for many years.
