SCHEETT, EDMUND ALEXANDER, of Waterford, passed away December 14, 2020 at 90 years of age. He was born on June 18, 1930 in Fargo, North Dakota, son to the late Edmund G. and Rose Scheett (nee Sanders). Loving husband of Jamie and the late Norma. Dear father of Coleen (the late William) Stoddard, Lena (the late Rick) Hook, Zachary Scheett the late Garrett (Dehlia) Scheett and the late Edna (Bill) Turner; proud grandfather of Bill, Michael, Yolonda and the late Jason; great grandfather of Cory and Sophia; dear brother of Christina (the late frank) Schmidt, Anna (the late Leonard) Zaradaka, Tony (Joan) Scheett, Gabe (Corky) Scheett, the late Barbara (Walter) Wilhelmie, the late Simon (Eva) Scheett, the late Frances (Blanche) Sheett, the late Peter (Floyce) Scheett and the late Conard Scheett; brother-in-law of Gina Robinson, Mary (Garry) West and Kimberly (Robert) Courts. Lifelong friend of Pat Aranosian. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends. Edmund retired from Consumers Energy. He was a United States Army Veteran serving during the Korean conflict. Edmund is also a past Exalted Ruler of the Elks club, also a longtime member of St. Benedict Catholic Church where he was involved with the Knights of Columbus. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, December 21, 2020, 10:30 AM with a 10:00 AM instate at St. Benedict Catholic Church, 80 S. Lynn Avenue, Waterford. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00 PM until 9:00 PM at COATS FUNERAL HOME - Waterford. Due to pandemic restrictions only 25 guests are allowed in the funeral home at a time and masks are required for entry, thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
