E. J.'of Kincheloe, Michigan passed away at his home unexpectedly on December 14, 2018. He was born June 15, 1952 to Edmond J. Fortin and Frieda Hanson. E.J. was a highly respected member of the Avengers Motorcycle Club for over 40 years. Surviving E.J. are his loving wife Brenda, his sons Chad Elkins of Sanford, Florida, Kenneth Grimes of Cookville, Tennessee, Dennis Grimes of Flint, Michigan, and Curtis Grimes of Flint, Michigan, daughter Edith Grimes of Burton, Michigan, siblings: Vivian Lowery, Eileen Seabolt, Sandra Botsford, Steve Fortin, Denise Fortin, and Carla Sauve. Also surviving are many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and many members of extended family. Preceding E.J. in death are his parents, and siblings: Oren Wright, Roque Fortin, Aurelia Loveridge, Laurelie Bolan, Noel Fortin.
