Knott, Earl, of  Waterford, MI passed away on June 12th. He was born on January 1, 1928, in Hancock, Iowa, son to the late Howard and Minnie Knott (nee Ast). Earl was a loving husband to the late Shirley. Dear father of Rhonda (and the late Dennis) Wezensky, Kenneth (Shireen) Knott, and Karen (Stephen) Calmes. He was preceded in death by his siblings Vera (Loren) Evans and Eugene (Alice) Knott. Proud grandfather to 14, and a great grandfather to 7. Earl worked for the state of Michigan for many years. He served in World War II and the Korean War. He enjoyed traveling with his children across the United States and East Asia He loved fishing, boating, and golf. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 17, 2022, 1:00 PM at Coats Funeral Home - Waterford. The family will receive friends on Friday from 11:00 AM until time of service.  Interment All Saint's Cemetery in Waterford, MI.
