HEWITT, EARL A., age 80, of Waterford, passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, in Waterford, Michigan. Earl is born on March 25, 1942, in Pontiac, Michigan to the late William and Evelyn (Smith) Hewitt. Earl had lived in Pontiac for most of his life and was a graduate of Pontiac Central High School and played on their football team and received a varsity letter. Following high school, Earl had worked on railroad cars and pressed metal at General Motors for over 40 years before his retirement in 2004. Earl will be remembered for his dear love of animals, especially his cats and dogs, Toby, Jenny, Pumpkin, Princess, and Tiger. In his spare time, Earl could be found on the computer or watching movies. Earl was the cherished father of Sandra Bell and the late Shari (Nathan) Waddell; Proud grandfather of Nathan, Ashely, Chris (Grace), and Alexander; Dear great-grandfather of Christopher and Natilynn. Earl was preceded in death by his loving wife of over 54 years, Betty. Earl was loved by many and will be missed deeply. At this time, no services will be taking place
