of Waterford, passed away on December 3, 2016 at the age of 55. Beloved son of the late Hal and Clara Gardner. He was married to Debra Gardner for 18 years. They together owned a business called the 'Bargain Times Magazine', and later on he was successful in sales for the Trugreen Corporation. He is the loving father of three girls, Lisa Gardner, Lori Gardner, and Lexi Gardner. Dear brother of Gary Gardner and Robert Reiter. Douglas enjoyed sports (Green Bay Packers, Detroit Lions/Tigers, Michigan State Spartans) and spent fatherhood coaching his daughtersrsquo; teams in soccer and softball. He enjoyed chess and competed and won tournaments in his spare time. Also, a talented writer and musician, he attended school at Interlochen Center for the Arts and Michigan State University. He was a beautiful piano player and was currently working on a duet with his youngest daughter on the violin. His legacies will live on in our heart and he will truly be missed by friends and fmily.
