Loving wife of Jay for 67 years; beloved mother of Jay (Marge) Young and Amy (Michael) DeSantis; grandmother of 6; great grandmother of 1; sister of Vange (Bill) Owensby, Irma Farrell, Carl (Nadine) Vallejos, Maxine (Rob) Rixman, Daniel Vallejos-Avila, and the late Margie Vallejos. Born in Colorado, she is preceded in death by her beloved grandmother Santana Avila; mother, Lucy Manzanares and step father, Al Vallejos. Dorothy retired from Oakland County in 1987 after 25 years as a legal secretary. A loving mother and wife, her passions included: cooking, sewing, cake decorating, ceramics; and a queen of aerobics.
